Cool FM On Air Personality, Mannie has
won the award for Favorite On-Air
Personality Nigeria at the
Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, which
went down last night at The Forum in
Inglewood, California, USA
Mannie who hosts the hit radio
show, ‘Mannie and the Angels’ on Cool FM
every morning from Monday to Friday
beat the likes of Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi,
Tosyn Bucknor and Big Tyme to emerge
winner of the prestigious award. Voting for
who will take home the coveted award took
place at 19 localised voting sites across six
continents in addition to votes carried out
on Twitter via hashtags.
Mannie who was excited about his win
said, “I cannot believe I won Best OAP in
Nigeria at the KCAs 2015… I’m too excited!
I am so grateful to everyone that voted for
me and I know that this is just the
beginning of greater things to come.”
He is now the second Nigerian OAP to be
recognized at the Kids Choice Awards after
fellow Cool FM OAP, Freeze took home the
award last year.
